The Cackle Berry brand was the brainchild of our former marketing manager. The term "cackle berry" being Australian slang for an egg laid by fowl, such as those produced by one of our brand mascots, the guinea fowl. The wine was initially launched as an entry priced, retail focused brand, with considerable success. More recently the focus of this brand has shifted to only being offered on-line and at our cellar door enabling us to focus on the Peppermint Grove and Reward brands at retail level.
