Reward Limited Release Verdelho 2004

A dry style that is somewhat unique due to partial fermentation and maturation in new French oak. A great alternative to wooded Chardonnay wine styles. This wine was the only gold medal winning Verdelho at the 2005 Margaret River Wine Show. Screw cap closure.

"The Growers' 2004 Reward Verdelho is easily one of the best I've ever tasted. This wine is not only dry and savoury, but it is rich and complex, with whiffs of ripe lychee and crushed almonds. The mouth-feel is lush and creamy with layers of fruit over lightly toasted French oak. Striking impressions of lemon marmalade and tangy orange cut a fine line between bitter and sweet.
